My Name is Catrece...

and I own Hiraya Portraits LLC. I am a Filipino-American nurse, photographer, and choreographer based in Baltimore. Born in St. Louis and raised in Maryland, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minor in clarinet performance at The Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. As my passion for photography grew, I decided to pursue it alongside her nursing career.

I primarily work in the DC, MD, VA area, but travel everywhere across the country. I have worked with major companies; including Advocates for Youth, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Motor House, Asian Arts and Culture Center, Capital Pride DC, Baltimore Museum of Art, WBAL, etc.

My photography and dance/choreography work has been published on Vigour Magazine, Asian Pasifika Art Collective, AAPI Art Gallery 2020 and 2021, Baltimore Magazine, Asian Arts and Cultural Center (Towson University), Baltimore Voyage Magazine, WBAL, WYPR, Storycorp Inc., Baltimore Museum of Art, Metro Weekly DC, FinalMag Online Publication, Voyage Baltimore Magazine, CanvasRebel Magazine, Worldeye Magazine, and Vigour Magazine.

Accolades include featured photographer at MONAD AGENCY "End of the Year" Photography gallery in New York City, New York, Baltimore Gamechanger Award nomination and acceptance 2022 with a feature in "Baltimore Game Changers Magazine."
